Alzheimer and Dementia Care

Alzheimer’s disease causes a loss of memory and all other cognitive functions of the brain, leading to a decline in the ability to think, move and use language. It is commonly known as senility.
The disease progresses differently in each person and is classified into three stages: mild, moderate and severe.

Alzheimer’s disease is not fatal in itself, but life expectancy can be affected by accompanying conditions.

A person with Alzheimer’s disease may:
• have difficulty speaking
• experience intermittent memory loss
• forget where they are and get lost in familiar places
• react with strong frustration when they realize they cannot think clearly
• behave inappropriately in public
• as the disease progresses, become unable to walk, dress, speak or live independently.

With this awareness, our expert team manages these difficult stages in a way that does not distress the patient.

Patients who lose track of time and of their own lives need direct, continuous care. We use our experience to meet these needs and to ensure the comfort of all our residents.

As there is no recovery from this disease, the patient may gradually become bedridden. If home care is not possible and you would like your loved one to be cared for in an institution, Antalya Nursing Home and Elderly Care Center, with its highly trained staff, is a sound choice.

At our center, every patient is cared for with great attention and lives in a peaceful environment throughout the course of their illness. Doctors and nurses are available 24/7.
