Parkinson Care for the Elderly

Parkinson’s disease is a disorder of the nervous system that usually appears in middle age. Typical symptoms include slowed movement, involuntary tremors and muscle stiffness.

At Antalya Nursing Home and Elderly Care Center, our specialized care for Parkinson’s patients is designed to meet all of their needs. Rehabilitation provided by specially trained physiotherapists both improves mobility and noticeably slows the progression of the disease.

We also provide speech therapy for the speech difficulties that are common in these patients, and we improve our residents’ quality of life with psychological support.

Our caregivers help with daily activities such as personal hygiene, repositioning in bed and feeding, while our nurses assist with monitoring vital signs, enemas, pressure sore checks and digestive system follow-up.
