Post-Intensive Care

Intensive care is the period during which the body’s failing functions are supported, when one or more organs temporarily fail, until the patient recovers, with the aim of keeping the patient alive and closely monitored throughout.

In intensive care, every medical means is used to restore the patient’s health. The period after intensive care is at least as important as the intensive care itself.

The patient’s medication must be followed, and needs such as breathing, nutrition, hygiene and toileting must be met regularly. Checking the patient’s bodily functions at frequent intervals is extremely important.

Nurses make a major contribution to recovery. From the start of treatment until discharge, our nurses provide the necessary care with great attention.
