Post-Operative Care

Post-operative elderly care begins after surgery and continues until the patient’s wounds have fully healed and they have returned to normal.

At Antalya Nursing Home and Elderly Care Center, we pay close attention to post-operative nursing care in order to maintain the patient’s physiological balance, manage pain and prevent complications.

During this period, our nurses support our residents in many areas: preventing complications, ensuring sufficient fluid intake, maintaining respiratory function, providing regular and adequate nutrition, supporting kidney function, helping wounds heal as quickly as possible, controlling infection and keeping the environment safe. If urgent intervention is needed, they assess the patient as quickly, calmly and safely as possible.
